Documentary wedding photography is a relaxed and unobtrusive style where the photographer captures the day as it happens naturally. Rather than staging moments or forced poses, I focus on candid interactions and creative storytelling.

We are camera-shy; how do you handle photos for creative couples who hate posing?

My approach is designed for couples who want to enjoy their day without feeling like they are on a film set. I provide gentle guidance only when needed, ensuring you feel relaxed and that the final images reflect your genuine connection.

Do you travel for weddings outside of London?

Yes, I provide wedding photography services UK-wide. Whether your wedding is in a London warehouse, a rural barn, or a coastal venue, I travel to capture creative stories across the country.

Will we still get formal group photos if we choose a documentary style?

Absolutely. While my primary focus is candid and relaxed, I understand the importance of family legacy. We typically spend 15-20 minutes on a small selection of efficient, high-quality group portraits so you can get back to the party.

HOW EVERYTHING WORKS

Using the contact form below tell me about your plans and compliment me on my work! It’s always fantastic to hear about a couples plans!
I always take the time to get back to everyone who takes the time to contact me. If I do have your date available i’ll send you over all the information we need to move forwards including my package information. I will also answer any questions you may have for me.
We arrange a video call or if you can i’ll invite you to my studio. I genuinely love chatting with like minded people. We can chat about your plans and get to know each other. There’s no pressure to make a decision at this point and the call is complimentary!
I’ve not made a total fool of myself on the call and you’d like to book me. To secure the date you just need to send over the non refundable deposit and sign the contract. It’s super easy.
Around 6 weeks before the wedding. We arrange a time for us to go over your plans. We talk about the timeline of events, group photos and anything else I need to know so I know exactly what you will be getting up to. It’s extremely important for me to have little influence on how you live your wedding day. The photos are about your wedding, the wedding should never be about the photos!

After that I am always a phone call away and I will be very excited to come meet you in person if I haven’t already. I love to go on an adventure!
