Documentary Wedding Photography in Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire is an incredible place to get married from historic country houses and barns to intimate rural venues and elegant city weddings in Lincoln. My approach to wedding photography suits the laid-back, personal nature of Lincolnshire weddings, allowing couples to enjoy their day without being constantly posed or directed.

As a documentary wedding photographer in Lincolnshire, I focus on:

  • Natural moments rather than staged shots

  • Real interactions between you and your guests

  • The atmosphere, details and emotion of the day

Wedding Venues Across Lincolnshire

I regularly photograph weddings throughout Lincolnshire, including venues such as Abbey Farm, Doddington Hall, Hackthorn Walled Garden and countryside barns across the county. Having photographed weddings at many Lincolnshire venues, I know how to work with the light, layout and flow of each space to capture the day naturally.

My Approach

It’s really simple, I just let you be you!

I really don’t like describing my work as a style, I just photograph how I photograph. If you would like someone is skilled in story telling and giving you a true set of images of your wedding day I could be the right person for you!

You have probably heard the same statements in your search for a photographer (unobtrusive, fly on the wall, documentary etc…) I don’t hide from whats going on. The best photos are in the thick of the action. And that’s how I spend the day, having fun with you and your guests.

I shoot from the perspective of you and your guests. This gives your final set of photos their own unique personality and style. You will know I am there and I will have fun with everyone. I am there to compliment your day as well as document it. This not only puts you and your guests at ease when theres a friendly person there taking the pictures. It also means everyone drops their guard and enjoy me being there.

Lets be honest know one likes having their photo taken but the more relaxed the style of the photography the more you will enjoy. No awkward posing… hands placed on shoulders or a dramatic look over your shoulder. It’s just all about you being you!
